This message is for families of students who ride Jeremy Cantrell’s bus 41A. The first run from our school to Pizza Hut will be running approximately 15 minutes earlier than usual. Students will be on Veronica Frames bus, which will be bus 98 today. The students riding the second run from our school to Frametown Elementary will be running approximately 20 to 25 minutes late. They will also be riding bus 98. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school. Again this message is only for those students that normally ride bus 41A.

Dear Davis Families that have students that ride Bus 45 is stuck in traffic. It is running at least 20 minutes behind.

Just wanted to let Davis Elementary families know that buses are running late again today due to road construction.

Due to road construction between Sutton and Gassaway our Davis Elementary buses are held up in traffic. Just be advised that they could be running up to 30 minutes late.

The classroom with the most parent or guardian attendance and teacher attendance will win a special surprise at school on Friday. Hope to see you there.

DES families, if your child missed Picture Day or would like to have their picture re-taken please call the school so their name can be added to the Make-up Picture list. Thank you so much for your time.

I want to send a personal shout out to our wonderful bus driver, Jeremy Cantrill. Jeremy goes above and beyond for our students at Davis Elementary. One day, he even circled around and parked on the other side of the street so our kids didn't have to walk in the rain. This morning he picked up a student to take to the high school that had missed their bus. Thank you Mr. Cantrill for always going above and beyond for the students at Davis.

Thank you to our wonderful community of Gassaway. You showed up big time for our students yesterday. We appreciate all of you so much. Our kids and staff are very thankful for your participation during our Halloween Parade. Thank you to all of our fabulous volunteers for working so hard to make a great Fall Carnival for all our students.

Tomorrow, October 31, DES Dragons will be celebrating Fall during our Fall Carnival. Remember if you signed up to be a volunteer, please be here by 8:00. Students will be participating in carnival stations during the morning, and our Annual Parade at 1:30. Remember students may wear their costumes. Just make sure to not add face paint or weapons with any costume. Family members are welcome to watch the parade along the sidewalks and then join their student in their classroom after the parade.

Just a reminder, DES LSIC Meeting
